trip summary- updated

We start the 1st leg of the Great Loop Boat trip [greatloop.com] on 6-24 in Lottsburg, VA. We expect to be in Baltimore to pick up our 22 year old son june 29. Then we will be in New York City to see ground zero and the July 4 fireworks in the east river and at the statue of Liberty. Then we drop off Josh and pick up Amy, our 21 year old daughter married to John, a marine in Iraq. Then we head up the hudson and west on the Erie canal to Niagra falls. then drop off Amy and pick up my brother and his wife in Syracuse July 13, heading north through the 1,000 islands area in the St. Lawrence Seaway and then take the Trent-Severn water way from Lake Ontario to Lake Huron. We drop Jim and Carol in Peterborough july 20 and they visit old friends in Toronto before returning home and then we are on our own.. We may meet up wiht the Great Loop cruising rendevous in Petanguishuine july 23-25. We then go thru the north channel of Huron which looks a lot like the San Juan Islands, only the water is warm. The we go down the michigan side of lake michigan and may corss over to end at milwaukee or may end at chicago.
