Cape May

We left Summit North and headed out of the canal and down the Delaware Bay. Debbie was nervous about this leg of the trip because big waves and wind were a definite possibility. Fortunately it was a mild day and wind and waves all behaved themselves. We motored to Cape May and pulled into Utches Marina (like "dutches" without the D). This was a great marina. They had a goodie bag with a map of the city, a bottle of marina labeled wine and biscotti, some coupons from local businesses, etc. We had a 1 mile walk to the boardwalk area past 1776-1800s homes that can be rented for vacations or are B&Bs. It was a beautiful street to walk down. The boardwalk was fun and we had dinner at a restaurant on the beach.

Cape May home on Main St from the early 1800s.

Dinner on the beach at O'Henry's.

Sandy was so impressed with the marina's facilities and amused by their signage that he had to take some pictures.
