Entering NYC Harbor with SHIPS!

We had some rather large 'company' entering the harbor. Sandy wanted to play 'chicken' with this guy who was entering at the same time. Josh and Debbie's wisdom prevailed like usual.
and we decided to 'draft' behind him instead.
fortunately the bridge was really wide with room for both of us as our ideal [for fuel economy] faster cruising speed is about 17-20 mph which was just a little faster than his.

Hi! I love the pictures and comments. Can you tell a little about the boat you are on?

Hi Sandy and Debbie,
I'm checking in this morning as we are back from our incredible trip to San Vicente.

Good morning!

Last week I was gone on a mission’s trip to San Vicente, Mexico and we had an incredible time, 63 of us. What a trip. Blessings beyond measure for us and those we worked with and for. The trip changed me....in so many ways, the people we met, our team who went down to serve, my priorities, my longing for a deeper relationship with Jesus.
I had the greatest team! You know 3 of them as they have been many times before: Mellisa and Amy, Steve (whom helped you on the calculations for the beams), Joe who just graduated, he was our muscle man, Nicole a sweet hard working 16 year old and a wonderful young guy - Mark Wheeler. I was blessed beyond all blessings with this group, we accomplished so much and had such a great time. I'm exhausted, yet happy! The roof is on, my 2 handicap ramps done, bathroom plumbing completed, new clothes lines at the Casa, Casa kitchen repainted, higher concrete block walls at the Casa, 3 of the womens houses the outsides got a redo, and Tom's team got a cistern and 400+ feet of pipe in above the Men's ranch. All got out to the migrant camps and played w/ dozen's of kids. Nothing like playing soccer in 90 degree heat with giggling child on your back!
Your pictures and comments are great, looks like a lot of fun! Enjoy the days, they are precious.
Love,
Peter and Annie and the girls
