Manhattan and the Brooklyn bridge from the water

Manhattan. Liberty is just to the left of the pic. Brooklyn bridge on the right side of pic. The twin towers were very visible for this viewpoint before 9/11/01

Brooklyn bridge towers are really old and are made out of a lot of bricks. there is a footpath down the middle of the bridge for walking across. New Yorkers to a lot of walking to and from subways and buses and it is noticeable. We saw hardly any really overweight people!
