Empire State building from the East River and Worlds fair marina/La Guardia Airport/Shea Stadium[Mets]

Empire State building from the East River -- its once again the tallest building in NYC- since the 1920's when it was built in 12 months by 5,000 men for 43 million-- 7M UNDER budget. wow. It will take much longer than 12 mo. to build the new world trade center with all our modern technology and know how.

Worlds fair marina where we stayed 3 nights [more later...] is right between La Guardia Airport and Shea Stadium[ where the NY Mets play] . next to Shea they are building a new stadium for the mets, probably with a roof.

we saw a lot of planes land right over our heads, but it was not too noisy.
